How It's Made

Our Aangana Nimbu Sweet Sour Pickle starts with fresh yellow lemons, washed, dried, and cut into quarters with seeds removed. A flavorful spice blend of chili powder, turmeric, dry ginger (hing), and black salt is mixed for the perfect balance of heat and depth.

For the tangy-sweet twist, sugar is dissolved in warm boiled water and combined with fresh lemon juice. The lemon pieces are placed in a clean glass jar, the pickling solution is poured over, and the jar is tightly sealed. Stored in a cool, dry place for 2-3 days, the jar is shaken daily to blend the flavors, creating a perfectly balanced sweet, sour, and mildly spicy pickle!
